I'm Valerie Tilmant.

I was born in Rio de Janeiro Brazil on the 13th of april 1995. I moved to France with my family when I was twelve. I had my scholarship in the South of France and studied literature and cinema for two years . In 2013, I began painting with the support of my loving partner. I travelled around Europe looking for new inspiration and did my best bringing a lot of colors into my work. continuing my travels through Asia, and now I recently arrived in Melbourne Australia trying to exhibit and promote my paintings.

My works are inspired of my dreams and my childish vision of the world. It is somehow a self reflection and also a representative picture of an adult looking through infant's eyes. I also consider myself as feminist, and am interested in the relation between men and women in my art, as between parents and children. My inspirations are various and somehow versatile, most of my works are made on the road while we are traveling around the world.
